Tulsi is useful in the treatment of respiratory system disorders. A decoction of the leaves, with honey and ginger is an effective remedy for bronchitis, asthma, influenza, cough and cold. A decoction of the leaves, cloves and common salt also gives immediate relief in case of influenza. They should be boiled in half a liter of water till only half the water is left and add then taken. Tulsi is an important constituent of many Ayurvedic cough syrups and expectorants. It helps to mobilize mucus in bronchitis and asthma.

Natural Home Remedies for Acidity: Mixing two teaspoonfuls of ghee in a glassful of milk and taking this once a day acts as a liner inside the gut and will heal all the destruction caused by the high flow of Pitta.

honey and ginger juice:-
Mix 2 teaspoons of honey with equal quantity of ginger juice. The concoction helps to expectorate mucus, providing relief for the common cold, coughs and sore throat.

Home remedies to reduce cholesterol:-

Cinnamon is a spice that is as tasty as it is healthy. It improves blood sugar control by providing an insulin-like effect in the body. There is a compound, called proanthocyanidin, that is found in cinnamon and has been found to improve insulin sensitivity. Use cinnamon in porridge, smoothies, coffee and tea and watch your glucose levels drop.
Home remedies to reduce cholesterol: Cinnamon is a powerful anti-oxidant. Studies have shown that the addition of cinnamon to your diet can help lower “bad” cholesterol levels.. Simmer a stick of cinnamon in water for about 10 minutes. Drink this once or twice a day. Cinnamon is believed to lower blood sugar (Type-2) and cholesterol as well.

Powdered cinnamon is known to decrease the blood sugar level to an acceptable range. Thus, you can use cinnamon as an effective treatment for diabetes by mixing it in a cup of water and drinking it regularly.

This is an herb that is effective in combating diabetes and treating glucose problems in the body. It can be consumed by soaking the seeds in normal water overnight and then consuming the water as well as the seeds.

Aloe Vera, along with bay leaves and turmeric acts in a natural way to eliminate blood sugar. Thus, it can be consumed with water or the aloe Vera gel can be used. Either way it is effective and healthy.
